“And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.”– John 17:3 (NLT) 



Heyyy fam! 👋🏾❤️ It’s me again, here to drop some spiritual gems 💎 and help us grow in our faith walk. So here’s the big question of the day:  


Do you want to know God personally? 🤔 Like, not just hearing about Him from sermons, friends, or TikTok clips, but actually knowing Him for yourself?  


If your answer is yes (and I hope it is 🙌🏾), then buckle up, grab your favorite drink ☕, and let’s dive in together. Because here’s the truth: God wants a personal relationship with YOU.Yes, you. No prerequisites, no exceptions. Isn’t that amazing? 😭✨  

✨ Step Into God’s Love Story ❤️


Here’s where it all begins: God loves you. Yep, YOU. Not some future “better” version of you—He loves you right now, just as you are.  


In 1 John 4:9, it says:  

"God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him." 


Let that sink in for a moment. God isn’t out here playing hide-and-seek. He’s already proven His love for you. He sent Jesus to die for us so we could experience His love fully. 🕊️  


And here’s the kicker: Jesus Himself said,

“And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.” (John 17:3)  


Catch what He’s saying? Eternal life isn’t just about heaven (though that’s a huge bonus 🙌🏾😇). It’s about knowing God personally, right here and right now. God created you for this kind of relationship—to walk with Him, talk with Him, and experience His love every single day. ❤️  

 💕What’s Blocking the Connection?🛐

Alright, so if God loves us and wants us to know Him, why do so many of us feel distant from Him?  


The answer is tough but real: sin.😔  

Sin is basically anything that separates us from God—our selfishness, pride, mistakes, and even the times we’ve chosen our own way over His. And because God is holy (perfect and pure), sin creates a wall between us and Him.  


But here’s the GOOD NEWS 🥳: God didn’t leave us stuck in that separation. No way. He made a way for us to reconnect with Him, and that way is Jesus Christ.🙌🏾❤️  


✝ Jesus Is the Bridge to God


Let me introduce you to Jesus—the ultimate game-changer. 💥  


1. Jesus Is God in Human Form.

   

Colossians 1:15 says:  

   “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation.”


   Translation? Jesus isn’t just a cool historical figure or a wise teacher. He’s literally God wrapped in human flesh, here to show us who God is and how much He loves us. ❤️  


2. Jesus Took Our Place.

   

When sin separated us from God, Jesus stepped in and paid the price for us. 1 Peter 3:18 beautifully puts it:  

   “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God.”


   That’s the ultimate love story, y’all. 😭  


3. Jesus Conquered Death.

   

Acts 1:3 tells us that after Jesus died, He didn’t stay in the grave. He rose again, proving He’s God and that His sacrifice was enough to cover ALL our sins. 🙌🏾  


4. Jesus Is the ONLY Way.

   In John 14:6, Jesus said it loud and clear:  

   “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."  


   No shortcuts. No detours. Jesus is THE way to get to know God personally. Period. ✝️  


💡 What’s Your Move?


Here’s the thing, fam: It’s not enough to just know about Jesus. You’ve gotta respond to Him personally.  


This means:  

  1. Admitting that you’re a sinner and need God’s forgiveness.  
  2. Believing that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.  
  3. Choosing to follow Him as your Savior and Lord.  


Think of it like this: Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, knocking. But He’s not gonna force His way in. You’ve got to open the door and invite Him in. 🚪✨  


John 1:13 makes it plain: “But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.”


And the best part? It’s a GIFT. You don’t have to earn it or work for it. As Ephesians 2:8-9 says:  

*"God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God."* 🎁  



🤔 Which Person Are You?


At the end of the day, there are only two types of people in this world:  


1. The Self-Directed Person.

   This is someone who hasn’t invited Jesus into their life. They’re still separated from God by sin and are trying to do life on their own.  


2. The Christ-Directed Person.

   This is someone who has received Jesus into their life. They’ve been forgiven, and they’re living in God’s love and guidance.  


So, here’s the question: Which one describes you right now? 💭  

And which one would you like to describe you?

If you’re ready to take the step and know God personally, here’s a prayer you can say:  

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. I’m sorry for going my own way. Please forgive me for all my sins. Thank You for dying on the cross to pay for my sin. I choose to turn from my old ways and follow You as my Savior and Lord. Amen. ✝️❤️
